Enjoy a stay at a scenic wildernesscamp

 

On a fantastic location right besides the unique river Lögdeälven wich is one of few rivers that are undeveloped and still runs wild and free, there is a beautiful campsite which is now accessible to everyone. Come and Enjoy the wild and beautiful surroundings. Directly from the campsite you can take a hike, go out fishing , enjoy a variety of different nature related excursions. The campsite is a strategic point for anglers as it is directly situated at the famous fishingspot “Kodalsforsen” wich is a hot spot especially for salmon and seatrout. Lögdeälven is rich of many different fish and animal species, for example as mentioned baltic salmon, sea trout but also brown trout, grayling, pike, fresh water pearl mussel and river lampreys wich all have their natural habitat here..

The campsite is also located in a Natura 2000 area wich is a network of nature protection area in the territory of the European Union. It is made up of Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) and Special Protection Areas(SPAs) designated respectively under the Habitats Directive and Birds Directive.

The wildlife in the area is fantastic and has a huge diversity of animals and birds. Depending on season you have a big chance of spotting for example moose, red, roe, fallow deer, bear, otter, sea eagle, golden eagle and you can fill youre bucketlist of the variety of forrest birds

The campsite has some simple conveniences that will be expanded in the future. There are currently 25 places for a caravan, camper or tent. Eventually cabins will become available on the campsite. On site there is several barbecue areas overlooking the river and there are two dry toilets with possibility to discharge sewage water. Come and enjoy the calm, individuality and feel really immersed in nature!

Practically you rent a numbered spot, one number per caravan,camper or tent. For a night, week or the whole season.

On arrival to the campsite there is a information board with a map and all necessary information for your stay.
